What to Expect | Hades ModShop

Your console has returned with a new breath of life. Here is how to handle your new setup.

1. Unboxing

Inside your return package, you will find your console and a small **Hades ModShop Welcome Card**. If you ordered an Ultimate Pack, your high-speed SD card will already be inserted into the console's front slot.

2. The First Boot

When you power on a modded Wii, you may see a brief "text-only" screen (Priiloader). This is normal! It’s your safety net. After a few seconds, it will boot into the standard system menu you know and love.

3. New Channels

You will notice a new blue icon called the **Homebrew Channel**. This is your new hub. If you have the Ultimate Pack, you’ll also see **USB Loader GX** (Wii) or **Aroma/Tiramisu** plugins (Wii U) ready to go.

The Golden Rules

⚠️ DO NOT Update: If the console asks for a System Update, select **NO**. Updates can break custom firmware.
⚠️ DO NOT Format: Formatting the system memory will wipe the mod and all your safety backups.
⚠️ SD Card Safety: Do not remove the SD card while the console is powered on. Most mods run directly from the card.
✓ NAND Backups: I have included a digital copy of your system backup on the SD card (in the /backups folder). Move a copy of this to your computer/cloud for permanent safekeeping.
